Are you an avid fisherman ready to experience spectacular fishing?  Are you in love with nature at its finest? Do you enjoy peace, serenity and privacy with minimal people around?  Do you want to be where the air is pristine and the water is so clean and clear you can drink it?
Takla Lake is the place for any avid fishermen and is known for its large rainbow trout, lake trout,  and dolly varden.  For hunters the area is home to grizzly, black bear, moose and mountain goat.  Takla Lake is the fifth largest natural lake in BC (1000 ft deep) with the Driftwood River flowing into it from the north and the Middle River draining it.  It is approximately 54 miles (87 km) long and is a large Y-shaped lake. The peninsula is the home of Mount Blanchet Provincial Park and is also home to a herd of collared woodland caribou.  Takla is the terminus of the early Stuart – Takla  sockeye salmon run.   From Stuart lake a person can travel up the Tachie River to Trembleur  Lake, up the Middle River to Takla Lake, to the Driftwood River, an unspoiled waterway of some 175 miles (281 km).  The Stuart/Trembleur/Takla  chain of lakes is one of the most beautiful and exciting in BC and is home to some of the best sport fishing in British Columbia.
The property is located at Takla Narrows where the lake depth raises creating a natural current and high fish feeding area out your front door.  It is in a gated area by the Takla Rainbow Lodge.   The lodge offers a pub and cabins for rent, along with boat rentals, showers , necessities etc.   There is an an airstrip and  a registered helicopter pad.   At one time the only access to this lake used to be by water (or flight) up the chain of lakes.  Since that time there has been logging in the area and there is an excellent logging road off of the Leo Creek forest service road.
This spectacular acerage  is  4.89 acres of mature trees  and 300 feet of waterfront.  Some landscaping has been done in the first 200 meters of the waterfront.   Easily park your RV’s and boats.  The property is available to be created into anything you can dream of and desire!  There is no power source or phone service. Of course, you can receive plenty of solar power and satellite reception.
